I am currently trying to reach Obi-Wan, I have opened his voicemail, I am attempting to text him.

Please tell me I have, in fact, reached his voicemail and this is not yet ANOTHER person I don't know.

Maybe he's just being too fussy. Daniel even thinks so too. But it seems that more and more people are returning from their expedition to that other city, and yet Daniel hasn't seen or heard anything from Hakkai. Which is completely unlike the other - he figures Hakkai would have been back here as soon as he had the chance. Not that Hakkai has to be, but..

Daniel just worries something happened. The journey to that other city is dangerous, after all. And god knows what could be out there at this point.

In the end he sticks to what he told Hakkai before. He'd rather get all fussy over nothing than miss something bad.

Are you back from the other city? Is everything alright?

I was just wondering since I hadn't seen you over at the dojo yet.

Hakkai, I'm sorry this message is out of the blue, but are you a coldblood?

[ In the evening, when Reiner is off on his first proper date with Eren, Hakkai will receive a delivery. (The empty state of Hakkai's fridge nagged at Reiner.) Inside is a selection of chilled meats and cheeses, plus a basket of various fruits.

The worst... [He mutters, but there's no heat in the words. Honestly, Hakkai just sounds amused. A little relieved. Needy as hell. He wants to make some comment about how they're both finally healed up enough for this, but it doesn't make it out of his brain. He is far too busy letting himself indulge in everything Gojyo wants to offer.]

[Taking it all in. Laughing lightly when they're reversed. He'll accept that. He'll take that. And if it isn't wanted, they'll figure it out.]

[There are... several times to figure it out, too. Like once it begins, he can't bring himself to stop. Like it's going to be yanked away again and he wants every little bit of physical sensation to remember it all by.]

[ On the Solstice, two packages appear on Hakkai's doorstep. The largest one contains a tall, handcrafted metal perch for Jeep that—despite being metal—brings a tree branch to mind. The base is heavy enough that it is unlikely to topple over. The perch itself is made of wood so that it's softer on Jeep's feet. The whole thing is enchanted to be quite durable and resist scratches from regular use.

The other, smaller package contains fresh fruit dipped in chocolate and caramel.

A note accompanies the packages, written in Reiner's neat script. ]

[ Oh, Gojyo is grinning as he walks up to Hakkai, unusual given what he had in his hand -- a book. ]

Hey, so I started rounding up your stuff so we can hoof it to the bigger place when you're all rested up, right?

[ It's wide. His grin is so, so wide. ]

Babe. You've got porn.

[It's the middle of the night as Gojyo lays in bed, staring out the window. He usually passes out no problem, but tonight he can't seem to get his brain to settle.

Retrospection is unlike him. He doesn't put a lot of value in it because it's usually not worth his time. It's just stewing in your own shit mostly. Letting fuckups and other things you couldn't do anything about eat away at you. But something was ruffling his feathers tonight.

He hasn't figured his way there yet, but he can feel Hakkai's still up too so he rolls over onto his side. Squints at him in the darkness.]

I can't get pregnant. Right?

[ On the Solstice, a package from Reiner is delivered. It contains a set of fine mixing bowls molded from a deep blue stone scattered with tiny white crystals, giving the effect of a night sky.

There is also a note written in Reiner's neat Eldian script. ]

[It's been a pretty good time for Gojyo so far, honestly. For how weird this place was, it was pretty normal. He and Hakkai had a routine pretty close to what they had back home, except the jobs were more regular and he didn't have to see Sanzo's prissy ass to get them. They'd been together romantically long enough that even that had settled into a routine, though that honestly hadn't been too much work.

And he tried not to think about that, really, because on a lot of levels commitment still scared the shit out of him. It was easier with Hakkai because ... well, he was Hakkai. He'd never given him a reason to be worried about it. But the rest of his life had, and overthinking shit was Hakkai's job, so he mostly left it alone.

But tonight as he looked up at the plaster of their leak-free ceiling, something itched at his brain. And, well, Gojyo always did his best thinking out loud. Hakkai was probably still awake, right?

He kept his voice low, just in case.]

Oi. Hakkai. You ever banged a guy before?
